6 Hour Stew


Grab your crock pot and let's make dinner. You do the small work of preparing the ingredients and then walk away and let your crock pot do the rest.



Ingredients:

  • 1 rump roast
  • 1 white onion, cut up
  • 1 red onion, cut up
  • 2 bags baby carrots
  • 2 celery stalks, cut up
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp parsley
  • 3 large garlic cloves
  • 8 red potatoes cut in half
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground pepper

Method

Place roast in large crock pot with all ingredients. Cook for 6 hours on low or 4 hours on high. Cooking overnight works well, too. Add water as needed.

Notes:

Number of servings: 6 to 8 people
