Method

In a large bowl, combine hamburger and turkey until thoroughly mixed. Stir into mixture carrot, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning and pepper, then mix. In a small bowl, whisk egg until yoke and white are thoroughly combined. Add whisked egg into meat mixture then mix. Once egg is thoroughly incorporated into the mixture, add grated toast and mix well. Form meat into 6 equal sized balls. Grill on moderate heat, flipping burgers once, and flattening meat balls as they cook. Once burgers are done, remove from heat and place one slice of cheddar on each burger. To dress burger, start assembly with 1 tsp of mustard spread on face of bottom bun. Spread 1 tsp of ketchup on face of top bun. Add 2 slices pickled beets on bottom bun of each and place burger on top of beets. Tear each bacon slice in half and place in an X pattern on top of burger. Add 3 slices of pickle to each burger, followed by a lettuce leaf and a thinly sliced onion.
