Beef hamburgers baked with browned mushrooms and onion soup mix that bakes into a delicious gravy. This savory meal is simple and delicious.
 

Ingredients

  • 2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 package dry beef onion soup mix
  • Black pepper
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • Sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Oil

Method

Place beef, onion soup mix and black pepper in bowl, then mix well. Form into patties. In a skillet, add a little oil and brown mushrooms then set aside in bowl. Brown patties in same skillet and place in an oven safe dish. Place mushrooms on top of patties. In a large bowl, mix beef broth, cornstarch and garlic. Pour over patties and mushrooms. Place in a 350 degree oven and bake until broth has turned to gravy.
