Best Kabobs Ever

Large cubes of beef sirloin are marinated in a mixture of onion, parsley, cumin, chili powder, ground red pepper and oil, then grilled.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp ground red pepper
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 1/2 lb. boneless sirloin steak, cut into 2" cubes
  • Long Wooden Skewers

Method

To prepare marinade, chop green and yellow onions and parsley in a blender or food processor; add all of the other ingredients (except for meat) and blend. Place meat and marinade in bowl or plastic bag and let marinate at least an hour or up to eight hours in the refrigerator. To prepare kabobs for grilling, soak wooden skewers in water and put approximately 4 pieces of meat on each skewer. Repeat until all meat is used. Grill over medium-hot coals about 4 minutes on each of the four sides. Serve with rice and a green salad for a complete meal.
