
Ground beef, bacon, onion, ketchup sugar, vinegar, and Dijon mustard are combined with baked beans, kidney beans and chick peas or garbanzo beans in a slow electric cooker.
In a large nonstick skillet partially cook bacon; drain. Coarsely chop. Drain excess fat from the skillet. Add ground beef and onions to skillet, cook, breaking up meat, until brown and onions are translucent. With slotted spoon transfer meat mixture to a crock-pot. Add baked beans, kidney beans, chick peas, ketchup, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard and bacon; stir to combine. Cover and cook on low heat setting for 7 to 9 hours or high for 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 hours, until bubbling.
