Method

Place blueberries into food processor and blend until smooth. In a large bowl, mix blueberries with sirloin and season with salt and pepper. Place mixture into refrigerator 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, add olive oil to a hot skillet. Chop bacon and add to skillet. Let bacon cook 4-5 minutes or long enough for fat to render. Add mushrooms and cook 5-10 more minutes, or until mushrooms are tender. Remove meat from fridge, score into four sections. Form each quarter into a patty. Drain bacon and mushroom mixture on a paper towel lined plate. Cook patties in bacon fat, 3-5 minutes per side, depending on how well done you desire burgers be cooked. While burgers are cooking, put a pat of butter on top half of each hamburger bun and toast until golden brown. Place a burger on a bun and cover with 1/4 of bacon and mushroom mixture. Repeat for other burgers.

Notes: If you can't find maple bacon, add 1 tbsp maple syrup to skillet when you cook bacon.
