This ground beef and vegetable soup combines beef broth and tomato soup with hamburger and several vegetables.
In Large Pot, Cook hamburger and onions together. Drain off fat. Add 1 Tsp garlic salt, 1 Tsp pepper, 1 Tsp seasoned salt and some oregano, if desired. Add the 2 cans of beef broth, 2 cans of the tomato soup and the water to the pot.
Next, add your potatoes (if using), carrots and celery. Bring to boil, then turn down to medium. Stir every now and then.
Once veggies are almost tender, add the macaroni (if using), the corn and peas.
Cover and keep on medium heat about 10 minutes or so. (Stir once just so the macaroni does not stick to bottom).
If, after all ingredients have been put in pot, there is not enough broth, just add a cup or two of water.
Shut off heat but leave the (covered) pot on the burner or unit.
Let sit about 1/2 hour before serving.
Notes:
You can use both potato and macaroni or "one or the other".
This soup is very filling. It's quick and easy to make. Preparation to Finish is about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
