
Dinner is cooked all together on the grill in one pouch, which contains a large ground beef pattie, onion & potato slices and corn on the cob.
Preheat the grill to low. Divide the hamburger in half, make two hamburger patties. On a large square of heavy foil, place the hamburger patty and season as desired. Next, add half the onion slices, then half the sliced potatoes. Place the ear of corn on top, smear the butter on the corn.
Close the foil pack tightly. Place on grill; close the grill and grill with indirect heat for one hour. Check to see if meat is done and potatoes are tender. If needed, cook for an additional 15 minutes. Cooking time depends on the overall temperature of each individual grill.
Remove from grill, let stand for 5 minutes before opening to serve. Open very carefully to avoid being burned by steam.
Notes:
Recipe may be doubled easily. Also, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower or cabbage are very good substitutes for the corn.
