Green Chile Burgers

Green chile salsa and sliced avocados add South-of-the-border flare to the classic burger.
Ingredients
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3/4 pound ground chuck
- 3/4 pound ground sirloin
- 3/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup green salsa
- 2 tablespoons Worcesterhire sauce
- 3 tablespoons mustard
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 1 large avocado
- 4 kaiser rolls, split
- 4 slices white Cheddar cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves

Method
Place ground beef in a mixing bowl with onion, bread crumbs, Worcestershire and green chile salsa then season mixture with salt and pepper. Combine mixture with hands and divide into four patties. Add patties to skillet and cook until golden brown, 4-5 minutes per side. When flipping burgers, lay a slice of cheese on each patty to melt. Assemble burgers by laying down some lettuce, red onion and avocado on each roll; add patties and a dollop of mayonnaise or sauce.
