Melted Gorgonzola cheese and caramelized onions top this rib eye making it a great treat.
Remove stems from rosemary and combine all marinade ingredients in a blender. Process until smooth. Place in a large container with lid. Marinate steaks for 1-3 hours in refrigerator.
Meanwhile prepare caramelized onions.
In a large skillet melt butter over medium high heat. Cook onions for about 8-10 minutes or until golden, stirring frequently. Stir in brown sugar and pepper, cook until sugar has melted. Keep warm until ready to use.
Grill steaks 4-6 inches from medium high coals or gas grill for 8-10 minutes, turning once. One minute before steaks are to be removed from grill, top with crumbled Gorgonzola cheese and onions. Serve immediately.
