A syringe is used to inject a large beef brisket with purchased marinade. It's seasoned, wrapped in foil, and smoked at least 10 hours.

Ingredients

  • 10 to 13 lb. untrimmed fresh brisket
  • Montreal steak seasoning
  • Jameson Irish whiskey
  • Moores marinade

Method

Get a 10 to 13 pound untrimmed brisket, inject it with about 90 ml (approx 3 full injectors) of Moores marinade, making sure to inject at several different areas. Place in foil fat side up and pour 1/3 to 1/2 cup whiskey (depending on size of brisket) over top then generously cover the whole top with Montreal steak seasoning. Make sure to use several layers of heavy-duty aluminum foil to wrap brisket. Smoke brisket at least 10 hours at about 275 degrees.

Notes: This recipe will leave you with a mouthwatering brisket that everyone will love. The longer you cook it the better. I have cooked it for 16 hours before at about 250 degrees and it turned out wonderful.

Number of Servings: 10-12
