
This popular ground beef casserole combines condensed tomato soup and whole kernel corn with the cooked meat, and tops it with mashed potatoes.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain fat; season with salt and pepper. Stir corn and tomato soup into meat in skillet; pour into a baking dish; set aside. Prepare potatoes as directed on package. Spoon potatoes on top of beef mixture evenly. If desired, sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste. Bake until bubbly, about 20-30 minutes.
Notes:
This recipe is actually better when made with instant mashed potatoes rather than homemade.
