
Try this hot Italian sausage combined with broth, lime juice, canned beans, corn, tomatoes, olives, green pepper, and onion, plus chili powder, paprika, cinnamon, cayenne, and cilantro for seasonings.
Cook sausage in a large pot; drain off fat. Add broth first to the meat, then the rest of the ingredients, in the order given. Bring to boiling; reduce heat and cook, uncovered, over medium heat for one hour, or to desired consistency. Serve over cooked spaghetti or noodles with the following toppings: sour cream, cheddar cheese, additional chopped onion and/or lime juice.
Notes:
Or use shredded cooked beef or chicken instead of the sausage, and omit the precooking.
