Macaroni Con Carne

Spice up your traditional macaroni with steak, tomatoes, onion and green pepper.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb small macaroni shells
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 1/3 green pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 small tomato or 1/2 can diced tomato
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp ground comino spice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 lb stew meat small dice
- 4 cups water

Method
Place meat in a pot or frying pan. Add 1 cup water, salt, pepper, comino spice, onion and green pepper. Cook covered in medium heat about 40 minutes or until tender then add tomato. In another pan, lightly brown macaroni shells. Add shells to meat with tomato sauce and 3 cups water. Stir together and cover 15 minutes over medium heat. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with pinto beans on the side.
