Mushroom Sauce

A rich sherry-infused mushroom sauce that can used with just about any type of protein dish.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of fresh mushrooms
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 bunches of green onions
  • 1 cup of cooking sherry
  • Salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste

Method

Heat butter and add sliced mushrooms and onions. Add cooking sherry and salt, pepper, and garlic salt. Cook uncovered for about 20 minutes until most of the sauce has evaporated.

 

Notes: Serve this over steaks, fish, or even in cooked pasta.
