Nanny's Easy Spaghetti Sauce

This easy pasta sauce makes enough to have leftovers for use in lasagna or to freeze for later. Blend canned tomatoes and paste and add to cooked beef and vegetables.
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 medium onion
- 1 green sweet pepper
- 2 tsp. minced garlic
- 3 cans (6-oz.) tomato paste
- 3 cans (14 1/2-oz.) whole tomatoes
- 1/8 cup Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Hot cooked pasta

Method
Over medium- low heat, brown ground chuck in a Dutch oven. Drain off fat. While meat is browning, in small skillet, cook onions, peppers, & garlic together. Add to browned chuck. In blender, blend 1 can tomato paste & 1 can whole tomatoes together. Add to meat. Repeat with last two cans of tomato paste & tomatoes. Heat through. Add seasonings to taste. Serve over spaghetti noodles. Leftovers delicious to make lasagna or freeze.
