These sandwiches have cooked ground beef (or chicken) & cream of onion soup spread between slices of bread, topped with pickles, mustard & cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 can cream of onion soup
- 1 lb of ground beef or chicken
- 12 slices of your favorite bread
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- Brown mustard
- 24 pickle slices

Method
Brown meat in a skillet; drain fat. Add can of onion soup; heat through. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray. Lay out 6 slices of bread on pan, spread burger mix over bread. Lay out 4 pickles on the corners of each bread slice. Then add 1/2 of the cheese on the beef. Top with remaining bread. Cover bread in an "s" motion with some brown mustard. Cover with rest of the cheese. Bake for 15 minutes on 400 degrees. After baking let stand for 2 minutes then cut each sandwich in fourths, cutting crossways.
