
Wide noodles are combined with cooked ground beef, tomato sauce, whole kernel corn, and onion in a rectangular dish and topped with cheddar cheese before baking.
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned. Drain fat. Sprinkle to taste with garlic salt and lemon-pepper. Add corn and tomato sauce. Heat on low for about 10 minutes, uncovered. Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions; drain and spread in 9 x 13 baking dish coated with cooking spray. Add beef mixture to noodles and mix well. Top with shredded cheese and bake in oven for about 20 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes and serve.
Notes:
You can substitute uncooked chicken, cut into cubes, for the ground beef. Add a little oil to the skillet before cooking.
