This steak dinner is easy and very gourmet. Fresh ingredients are the key to an outstanding dish here.
Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in skillet. Sear steaks in olive oil, 2-4 minutes on each side, depending on preference of doneness of steaks. Remove to platter and keep warm. Wipe out skillet and add remaining 1 tbsp olive oil. Saute garlic, shallots and onion until soft. Add rosemary and mushrooms and cook for several minutes. Stir in wine, salt, pepper and roasted red pepper strips. Cook for 1- 2 minutes.
To serve, place a quarter of focaccia on each serving plate. Top with a cooked steak.
Spoon sauce over steaks, distributing evenly among them. Sprinkle each equally with shredded cheese and chopped olives.
