Robust Roast Beef Sandwich

Layers of deli-roasted beef, red onion, fontina cheese, radish slices and Canadian bacon are sandwiched between slices of rye bread, spread with a mayonnaise, mustard and horseradish mixture.
 

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Rye Bread with caraway seeds
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. coarse grained mustard
  • 1 tbsp. bottled horseradish
  • 4 ozs. sliced deli roast beef
  • 1 small red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 oz (2 slices) fontina
  • cheese
  • 4 radishes thinly sliced
  • 2 slices cooked Canadian bacon

Method

For one sandwich: In small bowl mix mustard, mayonnaise, & horseradish. Spread mixture on two slices of rye bread. Arrange roast beef, red onion, fontina cheese, radishes and Canadian bacon on top. Cover with other bread slice.

 

Notes: Recipe can be multiplied as many times as needed. For extra crunch the rye bread can be toasted.
