Scarboro Fair Stew

This beef stew with vegetables is done in the crock pot and uses the herbs of parsley, sage, rosemary & thyme.

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 lbs beef stew meat in cubes
• 4 potatoes
• 1 onion
• 4 carrots, chopped
• 1/4 tsp parsley
• 1/4 tsp sage
• 1/4 tsp rosemary
• 1/4 tsp thyme
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp pepper
• 1/2 cup instant beef bouillon granules (or to taste)
• 4 cups water

Method

Brown stew meat in skillet. Peel and dice potatoes and onion. Add all ingredients to crock pot and let cook about 8 hours or until tender.

Notes: I named this Scarboro Fair Stew because when I was adding spices to my stew, I just remembered the lyrics to the song and added those ingredients.
