Smoky chipotle BBQ sauce

For this incredible BBQ sauce, you have to commit to making a delicious product by adding a little bit of time and love. It is worth it in the end.
Ingredients
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup prepared mustard
- 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1-6 oz can tomato paste
- 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup white distilled vinegar
- 1/4 cup hickory smoke
- 1/4 cup onion powder
- 1/4 cup Tabasco chipotle sauce
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp McCormick season all
- 1/2 tsp ascorbic acid
- 1/8 tsp potassium sorbate

Method
In a large sauce pan, add all of the ingredients and bring to a boil. When boiling, reduce heat to medium low heat and simmer for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until desired thickness. When done transfer to a glass container and cool for about an hour and place in the refrigerator.
Notes: Ascorbic acid and potassium sorbate can be purchased in a beer/wine supply store.
