Swiss Steak Supreme

A great way to make a tender, savory meal out of a low cost cut of beef.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds sirloin tip steak, cut into six pieces
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced
  • 1 large can diced tomatoes
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup spicy steak sauce
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons seasoned salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup flour

Method

Dip steak into flour on both sides. Add oil to frying pan and fry on low heat until both sided are browned. Mix all other ingredients together in a bowl. Put steak into a baking dish. Pour liquid ingredients over steak. Bake at 400 degrees for one hour to one and a half hours.

 

Notes: Cook until meat is done but do not overcook.
