Theresa's Triple Cheese Bacon burger

These beef hamburgers are seasoned nicely and then stuffed with bacon and cheese. The layer of American cheese finishes the burger off perfectly.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz bacon chopped and fried crisp
  • 2 tsp onion flakes or onion powder
  • 2 tsp beef bouillon
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices American cheese

Method

Combine first 7 ingredients and mix very well. Mix the sharp cheddar and Swiss cheeses and lightly press into 1/4 cup balls. Divide meat into four balls, patty out each ball into 5 inch circles about 1/4 inch thick. Place ball of cheese into center of meat, wrap meat around cheese, patty out burger to about 3 inch circle about 1/2 inch thick. Grill burgers about 5 minutes per side or to desired doneness. About 1 minute before removing from grill, top each burger with a slice of American cheese.

Number of Servings: This will make four (4) burgers
